PRE WW2 LUFTWAFFE LEATHER JACKET
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:25126292 | Modified Item: No |
Country/Region of Manufacture: Netherlands |
The jacket is dated 1937. Later, in WW2, the Hartmann type jackets became popular as well as the double chest jackets worn by Joachim Marseille. But many types have been worn.
Most were purchased privately, because they wanted to distinguish themselves and the Luftwaffe did not provide this typ...e of leather jackets. This jacket is apparently worn very short and is completely cool.
Good to wear for a long time or beautiful for display. The leather is still supple and of course super strong. There are leather loops on the jacket and Overhoff pebble buttons to confirm rank award epaulettes.
