Vintage/Antique Toy/Salesman Sample, Mini Miniature, Broad Head Half Hatchet/AxeJust a beautiful little carpenters half hatchet, only 7-1/2" long. The original hickory handle is solidly mounted to the hatchet head, no looseness at all. The handle has a great used patina finish to it (see pics). The head appears to be polished (see pics). No chips or nicks in the cutting edge. The poll end also looks great! No makers mark visible. The axe head is only 2-7/8" long, with a cutting edge of... 1-1/2" wide. Total weight is 3.6 0z. Just a super nice mini toy or salesman sample axe / hatchet.
