Good condition WW2 fixed bale helmet with liner. The shell is made by Schlueter but does not show the ‘S’. However other indicators clearly indicate it is a Schluter manufactured shell. The heat lot number/letter is 141A. The shell may have had a repaint in the past, but if it did it is a very old repaint. The liner is an early Westinghouse with an early double-wire sweatband. The sweatband’s maker and contract numbers have been nearly all worn ...off and cannot be read. The neck strap reads ‘Medium’ with contract number. The leather chinstrap is a late war blackened brass sans patent number under the lever indicating a mid ’44 to end of ’44 manufacture date. Rivets marked United Carr. Although I do offer an inspection and return period, I really don’t wish to have it back so please ask all questions and will take additional pics if necessary. NO INTERNATIONAL SALES - U.S. ONLY!
