Original Description:
This is an extremely nice GAW stock.  The GAW and all other stamps on this stock are authentic and original, and are not re-stamps.  The stock does not appear to have ever been sanded and still has its original finish, showing nice patina. The butt is fat with no butt plate overhang.  Also no receiver overhang.  Lockup is tight.  Only a few minor bumps and bruises, a couple of which appeared to have been filled long ago as shown in the pictures.  This stoc...k is in much better condition than is typically seen.  Comes complete with butt plate, ferrule, and swivels.  No issues, no rebuild stamps, and no surprises.  This is a good, honest mid-WWII M1 Garand stock.  US sales only.
