WWII Japanese Type 94 canteen in really nice shape. Canteen body has around 95% of its mustard brown paint, bottom is SHOWA dated 16 (1941) there are also some faint white Gov. Ink stamps on the bottom as well. Canteen body was made by NIGIRIYA Co, a major aluminum utensil's maker for the Imperial Japanese Armed forces during the war. Shoulder strap is also ink stamped on one side, markings are a little light, but you can read the SHOWA 16 stamp.  Canteen stopper strap is the... cloth type, it is full length, but tied off on one side. This canteen has an old Japanese can opener affixed to the shoulder harness. It is of military pattern, and has Japanese kanji stamped into it. Been there a long time. Guess the Heitai wanted it really close by for his daily canned rations. Shipping will be 8.50 for US buyers.
