Original Description:
ORIGINAL 100 %Circular 40mm silver medal with ribbon suspension. The face with the head of Ante Pavelić facing left,   ‘POGLAVNIK ANTE PAVELIC (The Leader Ante Pavelić); the reverse with the arms of the Independent State of Croatia (Nezavisna Država Hrvatsk - NDH), inscribed ‘ZA HRABROST’ (for bravery) and dated ‘1941’. Maker’s mark ‘BK’ (Braća Knaus foundry) and silver assay mark on the rim; on original ribbon in good condition. The medal was created in 1941 t...o ‘serve as a recognisable sign of decoration for deeds of personal bravery in conflict’ and awarded until 1945.
