Nearly square, this vintage Quaker Lace tablecloth measures approximately 51 ½” by 55” and has no holes, tears, or snags. There is a yellow spot on the back side that is about the size of the eraser on a pencil but the spot does not appear on the top side of the cloth. We have not attempted to remove this spot with sun or chemical treatment. Worked in an eggshell colored classic or formal pattern with suggestions of fluer-de-lis, the tablecloth has two tags. One ...is a cloth tag sewn into the traditional Quaker Lace edge that lists the pattern as 1100. The other is a paper type label also sewn into the edge that has the traditional Quaker head and the number ll. The paper label is perfect so We are thinking that this tablecloth was never used but certainly never washed. Our items are found at estate sales, yard sales, thrift stores, and junk jaunts that do not allow us to know the origin or history of the piece. Some I wash and some I don't.
