GUND 1961 10 " Toy Soldier From Disney ' S Babes In Toyland Plush

This is the hard-to-find plush doll from Disney's 1961 "Babes in Toyland."
The doll measures 10" from the top of the feather adorning his vinyl rubber cap to his feet.
Given the age of the doll, it is in remarkable condition.
The plush is still in near-mint condition with no visible moth damage and the stitching on both the trousers and tunic is tight, with no unraveling.
The paint on the face is still crisp and bright, although some paint has been rubbed off the nose....
Stuffing appears intact with no discernible dimples.
Overall, this is a fine example of the workmanship of the Gund Manufacturing Company, under the Gundikins subsidiary (see label photos), circa 1961.
Doll has been stored in a smoke-free home.
