Up for auction is this vintage original Jose Pinal carved wooden sculpture of an older lady with hands on hip and not messing around. She means business and has nice detail in her dress. Beautiful curves in her arm and she looks like she’s carved out of one piece of wood.
Lots of character and neat piece of handmade folk art. Signed J. Pinal on the side. There may have been another object next to her where the small glue marks are. Cool desk art object, especially for a collector ...of this renowned artist!
Base measures 7.2” inches long, 4.8” inches wide and sculpture is 7.5” inches tall.
