For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Army Air Force Air Corps Pilot's CBI Pacific Theater Made Silk Scarf. This scarf is made of thin silk and is approximately 43 1/2" long without fringe X 8 1/2 wide". The silk is fairly thin, but is double thick. The scarf is embroidered on one side of the scarf with a dragon and a US flag with multi color thread and a gold bullion flag pole, with the word Tokyo stitched along the bottom. These were sometimes worn by CBI Pi...lots and Aircrew, and were sometimes sent home as souvenirs. This is one is in good condition, but does show some yellow spots and a few small stains and signs of wear, that are hard to show in the photos. There are also a few creases and some wrinkling from prolonged storage. This will make a nice addition to any collection.
