RARE ANTIQUE BEAR MARK RUSSIA KORNILOW KORNILOV BROS. 2 DEMI CUPSFor your consideration are 2 antiqueImperial Russian demi cups by Kornilow Bros. They both have a printed exportmark of a bear holding a teapot and sign initialed “JHV, ” above “Made in Russiaby Kornilow Bros. 132.Measure: Approx. 2 ¼ inches high, 2 ½ inches round atrim and 1 3/8 inches at bottom.In very good condition with nochips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Kornilow(Kornilov) Bros. produced dinner..., tea sets, and other service wear in Russianfolk style in late 19th and early 20th century St. Petersburg, Russia. Most of the production was for export to North America where thecompany sold to leading retailers such as Tiffany in New York, Bailey Banks& Biddle Co. in Philadelphia, Shreve & Company in San Francisco, Jaccard Jewelry Co. in KansasCity. (Thissale is for 2 cups, but I will include as a bonus, a third matching cup that has a manufacturing defect.)Please see photos for additional details. Consider them partof the description. I sell mostly vintage items and they are not in perfectbrand-new condition.
