People’s Computer Company stands at the intersection of the Whole Earth Catalog, Ted Nelson, Steve Wozniak, John Draper/Captain Crunch, and the Homebrew Computer Club. PCC was run by Bob Albrecht, whom John Markoff dubs “the Pied Piper of the PC.”
When visiting California as ahigh school kid from Texas, I went by PCC (People's Computer Center, the storefront) and wr...ote a lot of letters to PCC (the newsletter), including this issue. My kids won'tcare about any of this, so I'm selling.
