SWEDISH M39 GAS MASK BAG SWEDISH ARMY TRANGIA MESS KIT CARRIER UNCOMMON STYLE. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.This is a Swedish M39 gas mask bag WITH UNCOMMON HOOKS to attach to web belt, d-rings or other places that it can hang off of. It can hold a gas mask or a Swedish Army Trangia mess kit. It is as if it was made for that purpose. The spirits container fits perfectly in the outside pocket with room left over for fire starters. The burner sits in the bottom with... the cook set on top of it. See pictures for example. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE BAG WITH HOOKS ONLY, SWEDISH MESS KIT AND ACCESSORIES ARE FOR DEMONSTRATION OF LOADOUT ONLY.This bag was made around 1939-40's, is green canvas with brown leather bottom. The bottom shows minimal fading, no major wear, like many feom this period.Obviously, this has been written on by a soldier, ut the only visible writibgs are on the back with 3 initials when it is closed. See pics.The brown color has become much more rare than the gray/green color and the hooks even more so!It is used but in great vintage shape, no rips or tears, in solid condition. It has a shoulder strap and a removable leg strap. Bag can be used as a retro, small, everyday carry bag. This bag fits both the stainless steel or aluminum Swedish Army M40 or M44 Mess Kits.
