Star Comics was an imprint of Marvel Comics that began in 1984 and continued to publish comic books until early 1988. Following that, the titles carried the Marvel Comics logo instead of the Star Comics one. Titles published by the imprint were aimed at child readers and were often adaptations of children's television series, animated series or toys. Several of the original titles consciously emulated the house writing and visual style of then recently ...defunct Harvey Comics titles such as Richie Rich. This auction is for the complete DROIDS comic book series, #1-8 from 1986. The comic book series was based on the animated TV series of the same name. Written by Dave Manak with art by John Romita. I'm an individual collector selling off his private, well-preserved collection. I’m not a professional grader, but I consider these individually bagged comics in VF+ condition.
