Johnny Appleseed Pewter Figurine by Michael Ricker. Signed and dated 1989 Limited Edition #495/1000. Measures 7 1/8" T x 2 1/8" W x 2 1/8" D. Weight 3 lb. 1 oz. Michael Ricker is an internationally recognized artist whose works are displayed in the Michael Ricker Pewter Museum and Gallery in Estes Park, Colorado. Ricker displayed his very first set of pewter figurines in 1968. His most well-known masterpiece is "Park City, " an entire town cast out of pewter an...d displays a lively city at the turn of the twentieth century. Ricker offered this piece to President Ford in 1976. Several of these pieces have appeared at Disneyland, Disney World and the Great Hall of Commerce in Washington, DC.
