Vintage WWII Air Forces US Army cloth summer summer flying cap Type A-9. Sheep wool on chinstrap and on inside of cap at the ears (pictures 7, 8, 9 are shown with the cap inside out). Cap is very clean and doesn't appear to have been used (although it may have). The leather chin strap shows no wear at all. The only flaw is the buckle of the chin strap has rust on it (see the photo). What a great find! Please review all of the photos and any questions... are welcome.
