Original Description:
This ORIGINAL WWII photo measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and carries the following annotation on reverse (some punctuation added): "Taken up in the blue - a German Stuka dive bomber that you read so much about. That seat back behind me is 1/2" armor plate. I guess they sure need it. A very well made plane though." No indication where it was taken. Based on the language of the annotation, it appears the war was still in progress when the picture was taken.
