On offer are 3 x Thayer magic catalogues that are in nice condition. Also included is a red envelope style folder that has "THAYER'S U.S.A." stamped on the front in white. I'm not ...a collector of this type of item, and have never had items like this for sale before, so my knowledge is limited to what I can see. I'm told they date from between the 1920s and 1940s but I can't be sure that is correct. Please look carefully at all the pictures as they form part of the item description.The three catalogues included in the auction are the brown covered Supplement Catalogue No.5, Books on Magic and Kindred Arts, and Magical Literature. They are all of a very similar size measuring approximately 23cm x 15.5cm (9" x 6"). None are dated but I'm sure the collectors among you will have a good idea of their age. They are all are tanned with age and have some age and use marking on them, but nothing that really detracts too much at all. None have any rips, scribbles or repairs but they do have corner and edge bumping. All have staples at the spine and the staples have rusted. There are no missing pages but at the centre of the "Magical Literature" catalogue pages 15 - 18 are loose.The hard cover red folder measures about 25cm x 16.5cm (10" x 6½"). It has had some use but it's still clean and sturdy.Despite the minor cosmetic faults these are really nice examples of vintage magic tricks and supplies catalogues. They display well and will make a wonderful addition to any collection. !!!Please look at all the pictures as they form part of the item description!!!
