HEART OF GOLD BY: MIKAME CRAFT EFFECT: The magician calls attention to wooden apparatus on his table pointing out the hole in the center through which and opened heart-shaped metal locket is seen. The locket is pointed out to be empty.&nb...sp; The locket is then closed. The magician then asks if there are any ladies in the audience that would volunteer to lend him their wedding ring as a part of the trick involving the locket. A woman finally gives in and hands the magician her wedding ring. The magician retrieves a red silk from his table, covers the ring with it, and hands it back to the woman participant, having her hold onto the ring through the silk with the rest of the silk hanging down. The magician says, “On the count of three, I want you to toss the silk and the ring as high into the air as you can.” The woman does as directed and tosses the silk containing ring into the air at the count of three. The magician picks up the silk but points out the ring has vanished. (All sorts of mayhem may then take place) Finally, the magician goes and gets the locket and asks the woman to open it. In it is her wedding ring.
