Antique early 1900s nine patch primitive quilt ~ handmade ~ 100% cotton ~ medium cotton batting ~ neat country colors & plaids ~ indigos, tans, creams ~ cutter for crafts or rescue casual quilt with trimming & edge repair ~ depends on your tastes ~ I love very old quilts and do not mind some of their wear and flaws, but if you prefer more pristine, best to buy new or undamaged ~ Condition ~ some light t...o medium tea stains, only very light wear in body of quilt on the topside ~ the walnut color backside does have some wear/tear in about 7 spots...see photo....also along one whole edge of quilt it is worn and torn ~ if this were mine? I would trim worn edge and probably rebind the quilt and use it for casual use ~ the colors are great for country or ranch home ~ looks like it would be right at home in that setting ~ send any questions and thanks for looking at my oldie today!
