JUMBO DECK OF CARDS WOODEN ZIG ZAG ILLUSION, I would imagine this is from the mid to late 1980's. Maker unknown, I don't know if it is commercially manufactured or a homemade piece as I have never seen another one. I do know the previous owner loved to redecorate all his magic with flashy, prism tape and mylar, and this piece is no exception. Over the years the mylar has developed air bubbles and wrinkles as seen in the pictures. You show a jumbo deck of ...cards and place them in a wooden three section houlette. Then after doing so you place the top section on with the top of the deck peeking over the edge. You remove the two jokers and use them as "blades" to divide the cabinet into three distinct sections. Then, voila... you slide the middle section over making a zig zag effect. Then if you wish, you can reverse the process and remove the cards and place them back into their well aged box.This would make a great display piece for your magic room or office. All wooden construction, no instructions, but just handling the prop you can figure out what to do. With a little imagination a fun routine can be concocted. This could become the center piece to your collection.Unusual to say the least.
