OLD EARLY 1900 ' S S. S. COCA COLA BOTTLE CORDELE, GEORGIA - UNCOMMON CENTER SCRIPT
Item History & Price
This bottle has "Coca Cola" on one side in the center. And on the bottom, it has the mold number "1442A". It was ...first bottled in Cordele, Georgia, shown in large 5/16" letters. Below the Coca Cola name, it states, "Trademark Registered". I do not know who made this bottle. Root Glass and Chattanooga Glass were the largest producer of early Coca Cola bottles.
The bottle is over 100 years old. It has been bottled many times, as you can see the case wear scrapes on the sides. The bottle has plenty of patina and scrapes, with internal marks and beautiful bubbles, common with the primitive manufacturing process of the day. This bottle also has a flea bite on the neck, and is chipped on the mouth of the bottle, as shown. There is a large chip, and a tiny one 1/2" away.
