Very recently, in Paris, I discovered a folio, containing academical drawings, a lot dated between 1800 and 1810. The drawings are clearly of different artists (we recognise three different "hands").
The present drawing, executed in red chalk on 18th century laid watermarked paper, depicts a fine portrait of a young woman.
Authorship : the drawing is from the French School.
Period : ca. 1800.
Size : 35, 4x30cm.
Condition : Good. Some scattered dirt throug...hout. Mid horizontal : traces of folding. Unframed.
