Good Against Evil was one of many TV movies made in the 1970's as knock-offs of classic demonic films of the time such as Rosemary's Baby, The Omen & The Exorcist. Originally airing on May 22, 1977, this attempt at a weekly series comes from director Paul Wendkos (The Mephisto Waltz, Secrets, Haunts of the Very Rich) and Hammer veteran Jimmy Sangster (The Legacy; Scream, Pretty Peggy; Horror of Dracula; The Revenge of Frankenstein).
Driven mad with delusions that devil-wors...hipping cultists want her unborn child, a woman goes into painful, torturous labor. Surrounded by evil energy, she delivers a baby girl named Jessica. Years later, as Jessica plans to marry, unearthly signs begin to manifest themselves suggesting that the girl has been touched by Satan. The intense rites of exorcism are her only salvation. Starring Dack Rambo, Kim Cattrall, Elyssa Davalos, & Dan O'Herlihy. There are two superhot actresses in this one including a young Kim Catrall
Details about the print: This print is in excellent shape with light wear overall. Only an occasional hairline and splice. Surprisingly, (and you can't really tell from the pictures I took) this print still has lots of color left. You see a bit of warming and some of the hues aren’t as vibrant as they once were, but overall it still looks okayish. It wouldn’t be hard to color correct all this in a film scan if that is your intention. No Vinegar Smell. Comes mounted on two 1600ft. reels. Also, there appears to be no registration of copyright for this film. The auction time is going to fly by on this rarity, so don’t let it get away—bid soon.
