POPEYE IN "THE WIFFLE BIRDS REVENGE"The Wiffle Bird's Revenge" is a 1961 episode of the Popeye the Sailor TV series. The story begins in the Rough House Cafe, where Popeye refuses to let Wimpy mooch him again. As a dejected and hungry Wimpy wanders the park, he spots a "tasty-looking" bird and hopes to make a hamburger out of it...It turns out to be the magical Wiffle bird, which casts a spell on him in revenge. Whenever Wimpy says the word "hamburger", he changes into a werewolf. Mean...while at the diner, Popeye expresses regret for his stinginess, when suddenly a newscaster on TV warns the public about a werewolf running loose. Thanks for looking.
