Up for auction - 16mm B & W film entitled: The Paperhanger's Helper starring Laurel and Hardy. This film was a re-release in1947 by Castle Films. This film had music and sound effects added to the original which was released in 1925.
This film is about a paperhanger and his helper arrive at a sanitarium to do a job. The chubby paperhanger leaves most of the work to his thin assistant, who tries gamely but usually makes a mess. Various patients at the ...asylum interrupt and complicate the work, and, to the dismay of the lazy boss, a nurse is attracted to the helper. Amidst all the paste, ladders, brushes, and the images of circus and jungle animals on the wallpaper, is there any way this job gets done to the satisfaction of the sanitarium's director?
This film its about 300' long and will ship on a core (see picture #9). It does have a very slight warp but ran perfectly though my projector. No splices were detected and very few surface scratches. It does not have any odors. Overall a good to very good print.
