Hello there. Where did I get this? To start, my father, Dave Butler, who lived in Milwaukee, was a very longtime film collector and was a long-long time cartoon historian/collector as well. He had a company called Bosko Video and released some vintage cartoons and such on VHS and DVD in the 1980's into the 2000's. I own the film collection now and I myself do not have a working projector, so all the films are being sold as is. I DO inspect every film for damage, bad color, sp...lices, completeness, etc. I do not own any film with any vinegar issues.
Here we have a Tex Avery MGM cartoon on 35mm film. It's 'The Cat That Hated People' from 1948. Film is on a 3" plastic film core and is on Eastman stock and looks faded. Cartoon looks complete with MGM logo, titles, credits and at the end, 'THE END'. I noticed 2 splices in the body of the cartoon about 4/5ths of the way thru. Minimal loss of frames from this. Repaired by someone who was good at it. Please see photos for color, condition, etc.
This 35mm film is heavy(with packaging, around 4 pounds) and does not qualify for media mail rates. USA priority shipping is $14.65 and Paypal only for payment. Please ask any ? before bidding.
