Description:
Lovely woodblock print by Japanese artist Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965). The work dates to about 1950 and is known as "Shell" or "Young girl in shell". It is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right with excellent impression and embellished with mica. The artwork is matted and framed with visible image measuring 14.5" x 9.75" and exterior frame measurements of 20" x 15.25". Please examine the images closely, this is a great collectible!
