This is Reels 1 & 2 of the Spanish version of The Laurel & Hardy Murder Case. The Boys actually are speaking Spanish. Some of the other supporting stars have been replaced with stars that spoke Spanish fluently. You can catch Ollie glancing off at a blackboard that is off-camera from time to time. It starts off as the english speaking print does at the dock with the Boys fishing. Ollie sees an article in the paper he's reading about a reading ...of a will for a relative of Stan's. When they decide to go is when it cuts to them on the train (Berth Marks). After the clothes tearing they arrive at the house for the reading of the will. The foreign language Laurel & Hardys had added scenes and/or were combined with other shorts to make a short feature which is what the overseas market liked. A real treat.
