Here we have an extremely fine Korean War U.S. Army Combat Infantry Badge with star that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of sterling silver. The front exhibits excellent detail to the musket, wreath, and star, and with perfect blue enamel paint behind the musket. The reverse of the badge with gun-metal gray finish and marked, “E & H SIMON - STERLING” and “G 1”. The badge is with both posts and without the brass clutches. It is with an attractive age toned patin...a. To appreciate the significance of this badge, you would have had to have fought in just one conflict. The recipient of this badge fought in two.6481
