This sale is for an incredible, beautiful antique Arts and Crafts mission oak slag glass lamp c.1910. It is quite large measuring 24" tall to the top of the shade. The shade measures approx. 17 1/2" on each side and the base measures approx. 9 1/4" square. It is sold in as found original condition with the old cloth cord cut so it will need re-wiring. It is all original and the finish has slight crazing from age. The slag glass has no cracks and when u...nlit it appears purple but lights up to a beautiful reddish purple colour. For the sake of accuracy, two of the wooden arms that hold the shade have cracks where they attach to the center stem as seen in the last picture but this is an easy fix with wood glue. I could not see if there is a makers name, the base has the old original cork type coating. due to the large size it will have to be shipped in two large boxes with a total shipping cost of $160.00 in Canada and U.S.
