DESCRIPTION:Offered is a vintage matching original pair of Dorothy Draper designed Espana chests for Henredon Heritage. In black lacquer with gold accented recessed drawer carvings and brass drawer pulls. This is the classic example of Hollywood Regency design. One has the Heritage Henredon brand stamp, the other has just the Henredon stamp (so they were made at different times). Both retain their original jewelry or flatware trays. All original brass hardware. Solid wood con...struction, plinth bases.
CONDITION:Solid and sturdy in good overall condition. There are a few small edge chips as shown. There is craquelure to lacquer finish on the top of one. Both have some cracking of finish at the front edge seam. One drawer has a hairline crack to the finish across the width of the drawer front. Overall they are very presentable for being 60-70 years old.
DIMENSIONS:Each 38" wide x 20" depth x 31-1/2" tall.
