This is a lot of items acquired as a lot. It consists of an APH-5 flight helmet (namedon inside), An MS22001 oxygen mask, a paraloft made helmet bag with leather name tag for "M. L. DUKE CDR USN" with embossed gold colored Navy pilot wings, and a pair of MK-33 Universal camera Co (NY) marked with Duke's name. Flight helmet has design with Bat in yellow reflective tape on sides with "XO" on back. Helmet is in rough shape, leather tabs have detached from inside, but are... all present. Outside finish of helmet rough (pictures). Oxygen mask and helmet bag are ok, bag shows age, but not brittle. Inspection circle on mask is for years 1964, 65, and 66. Zipper works. Binocular case missing shoulder strap, otherwise intact. Optics are clear and bright, but there are a couple of specs on the inside. Overall good condition for a WWII (dated "1943") Universal Camera MK-33 Mod I. MARV DUKE was XO of VQ-1 in 1968 during the Vietnam War. VQ-1 had a detachment in Danang which flew EA-3 missions over Vietnam, Laos, and ? Shipped in two packages via USPS Priority mail.
