Original thickcardboard single type paste over cover. The shrink is fully intact with twooriginal breathe holes on each side, along the spine. The back cover has afactory designator RIAA 3, identifying that this issue was pressed atthe Capitol Records, Scranton, Pennsylvania, pressing plant. Inside, you'll find the original Capitol Records T-2309 mono catalog numberblack label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along thelabel's edge and without the "subsidiary" print. The 1st copies ofThe Early Beatles, released in March 1965, came with the orange-red"Teen Set" inner sleeve, advertising a special club for teens, which is seen at the mouth of the cover on this copy. (Please see the lastphoto) The "Teen Set" inner sleeve was replaced to the olive"Capitol's New Improved Full-Dimensional Stereo" two months after thealbum's release date. For this particular reasons, it's most likely thetrail-off vinyl of this copy contains the unique and insanely rare anvilsymbol, identifying the very early 1st Scranton pressing.
