Antique ca. late 1920's Virginia Pine & Birch Box. Hand Made from Scrap Farm Wood by My Grandfather When He Was a Boy. Beautiful Original Blue Green Paint, his mother (my great grandmother) painted the box for him. Opens and closes easily and evenly. GREAT for cards, pictures and other treasures; just as it was intended. Measures: 6 3/4" Long x 4 1/8" Tall x 6 3/4" Deep. A small chip on the left hand corner. An original part of the wood used. My family h...as owned this still working farm in central Virginia for over 240 years. We're selling some of our antiques, primitives, collectibles, etc. We hope to raise enough to save the original 1740's manor house.
