Original Description:
This vintage mid 19th century French table clock is designed in wood with applied gesso decorations. The clock has a stately appearance. The gesso/wood case features columns on either side of the clock face. The top of the clock is adorned with an urn & decorative finials. The white enamel clock face hasRoman numerals & displays the Planchon, Paris name. There is a French bell movement behind a glass door. The clock movement is stamped "PLANCHON, PARIS 1589. Clock is running bu...t will require a cleaning/service to keep time.
****a pendulum is included.
