Gorgeous! Inspired by the history of the Massachusetts Newburyport area, Old Colonial Sterling Flatware is a very decorative sterling flatware pattern that embodies the spiritand craftsmanship of the colonial era. This flatware pattern features a glossy finish accented with beads and a pointed tip. The handles feature a scroll design enhanced by delicate pierci...ng. One of the most notable features of this pattern is the "grooves" in the bowls of the spoons and forks.
The pattern is discontinued. It was available from 1895 to 2009.
This knife has been enjoyed over the years. There are some lite scuffs and scratches from use but nothing that deters from the beauty of the knife. It is marked "STERLING" along with the Towle Silver mark on the side of the handle.
