Vintage Webster Wilcox Large Oval Footed Trophy Bowl With Cherry Embellishment

Gracefully proportioned oval footed silverplate bowl by Webster Wilcox embellished with cherries. Bowl measures 10" x 7", and the cherry handles make it a little over 12" over all. It stands just over 4 1/4". Weights 1 3/4 lbs.
Condition is good overall with pitting as shown in the interior: my mother often used this for flower arrangements. There is no wear to the plate on the outside of the bowl anywhere, and the decorative elements are perfect.
The inscription read...s, "MBYC 1967 Orient Trophy 2nd" : it was award for a sailing victory at Manhassett Bay Yacht Club in Port Washington NY.
