Very collectable. I have not found these in a catalog to date them. They are at 147 to 94 years old.6 ornate knives 6 matching forks. These are hors d'oeuvres or relish tray size. Solid brass. Vom Cleff & Co. info: Robert vom Cleff came to the US from Germany in 1867 and started his company in 1873 at 105 Duane Street, New York City (von Skal, 1908). He was a major importer of hardware and cutlery, including scissors, razors, and surgical instruments. Until Robert’s untimely death in... 1907 he was the President of vom Cleff & Co. After his death the company was run for another nineteen years by his widow and son. These need a good polishing. I tried but it’s going to take some elbow grease and time.
