Lot of four vintage green glass Coca Cola bottles, in dug condition. These date to 1948 and 1949. All are hobble skirt, marked as containing a minimum of 6 oz. They are marked with the D patent number. The date and manufacturer is on the skirt. All are by Owens Glass Co. Included are one marked 3-48, one 43-48 and two 28-49.These were dug from an old pit in Wiscasset, ME that dates to the 1940s-1950s. Major debris has been removed, but the... bottles still could use some light cleaning. There are light surface scratches, to be expected on a dug bottle. The glass is intact with no major chips, no cracks. There is some minor chipping, mild to heavy case wear, some rainbow sheen to the glass and some mineral deposit. I don't find any outside surface opacity caused by burial. The overall condition is quite nice. These would be great for display.Thanks for looking and please email any questions.
