This is a Bronze Work of Art Deco Mid Century fixture that keeps time and sheds some light....what more could you ask for!
Made By Silver Crest With a Pennwood clock mechanism.
All is working fine here...clock is doing it's thing without making loud noise, ran it for one hour and it did keep time.fluorescent light fires up easily.
The lamp has sockets for two bulbs but only came to me with one bulb, I tested bulb in both sockets and both worked.
The bulb that is here is act...ually marked OCT 56.
The one pen holder has a small chip
Shade can be adjusted as it does tilt up and down.
This is old, so there is light tarnish, but that is well earned patina....So I just buffed it with dry paper towel to preserve finish.
Now it would be a wise decision to bid large and be in charge.
