This is a Chinese Chain Fusee Bracket Clock, consisting of the box holding the clock, its bracket base having lift up front and back doors with inset mirrors. It also has a turn table stand for rotating the clock to wind and set, without lifting the clock off the stand. It also is a beautiful piece of furniture. It measures 23 1/2 x 13 inches, with a 7 inch diameter roman numeral porcelain dial in excellent condition, and having an extensively engraved brass surround. The heavy brass movement has chain fusees for the running and also striking, which are visible through the glass inserts on the sides of the case. It even has a crown wheel escapement, sweep second hand, and signed back plate on the movement. It powers up, and is complete, but it is not currently running.
