Thisis a beautiful antique watch from an estate collection. The case is superb. Itis a hunter case, Coin silver, and a heavy 5 ounce size. The case has excellenthinges & case springs, and has no dents or damage. The case is plain, withan ornate shield on the front lid (no initials in shield). The white porcelaindial is excellent, with no chips or hairlines. It is signed “American WatchCo.” Blued steel hands. The movement is key wind & set, gilt, 11 jewels, ‘P.S. Bartlett�...�� model, serial #536853 (circa 1871). The movement is in verygood condition. The plates are scratch-free, and show no signs of abuse orovercleaning. The watch runs strong, but I have not had it cleaned or serviced.It has been keeping good time on my bench, but I cannot guarantee it to be areliable timekeeper. A key is include.
