Up for auction is The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" LP with the cover that was banned/withdrawn and includes the unauthorized pictures of Lucille Ball, Rachel Welch, Farrah Fawcett, Doris Day, Joan Crawford and Marilyn Monroe. It has an elaborate die-cut design. It featured The Rolling Stones in garish drag alongside select female celebrities and lingerie ads. The cover immediately ran into trouble when Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Liza Minnelli (representing her mother Judy Garland), R...aquel Welch, and the estate of Marilyn Monroe threatened legal action. It was quickly re-issued with a revised cover that removed all the celebrities. The cover also includes the 'hype' sticker. The cover, with the breathe hole, has no promo holes or corner cuts.
