The NUR was a trade union for all non-white collar employees from porters to signalmen. The badge has a buttonhole clasp... and it has been hallmarked verso in Birmingham during 1957 by John Cyril Taylor & William Charles Taylor trading as John Taylor & Co, silversmiths & medal makers, Ely Place, Charterhouse Street, London EC1.Measuring approximately 1" by 1" it weighs 7.8 grams.The badge is un-cleaned and in the same condition as it was when found.
