Here's a lovely vintage tea bag / tea leaf holder which has been hand painted with vivid cobalt blue and gold gilt. Other colors are mauve, green, red and orange. The mark on the bottom is illegible except I can make out the word "hand" so I presume it means hand painted. It consists of two parts: the strainer and the receptacle. Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Dimensions: The strainer is 6" long and 4 1/8" wide.The receptacle below it is 3¼" ...in diameter and 1¼" high.
