An original Art Deco ashtray incorporating 2 figurines, 1 cast into the supporting stem and 1 into the handle.Cast iron repainted in a silver chrome. When originally purchased it was silver with traces of red paint on the figures.Unfortunately it is without the original tray which may have been glass, but a replacement item shouldn't be too difficult to source.We've previously used a commonly sourced glass ashtray as a replacement.Overall height is 24" (610mm), diameter of tray is 7" (...175mm) and the base is 8" across (200mm).The handle is slightly loose and although the retaining screw is fully tightened it could benefit from a little work.
