The box has a note on the front: "NOT A PRODUCT OF CORNING GLASSWORKS" but it sure looks like it was made to match the PYREX Golden Butterfly Pattern. Same type of white glass, same yellow color and very similar design.
This set was made by GEMCO Brand in Freeport, N.Y. in 1974.Both pieces are still in the box and look unused. Just the chrome lids show very slight signs of age (please zoom in on the photos). Box is also in very good condition!
