No. 00 Griswold Quality Ware Cast Iron Plated Skillet Ashtray ~ 570 AI am relisting this Griswold Ashtray because previous buyer did not pay. In good condition ...no cracks, chips or repairs. There are dark spots from use ...please note the #4 and #7 pictures. Marked on bottom: QUALITY WARE ~ 00 ~ GRISWOLD LOGO ~ ERIE PA. ~ 570 ~ There is the number 2 on the bottom of the Matchbook Holder ...please note the #1 and #8 pictures.Marked on underside of Handle: PAT. NO. ~ 100, 021...Approx. 6 11/16" long (across the Matchbook Holder and the Handle) x 4" wide (across the outside edge of the "pour spouts") x 15/16" highI am not exactly 100% positive about the finish on this Ashtray... Chrome? Nickel? ...or Du-Chro? I believe Du-Chro means "dull chrome." Griswold Du-Chro pieces were typically a combination of a satin finish on bottoms and sides... while the tops of the handles and other highlighted areas were polished. I'm kinda leaning towards this Ashtray having a Du-Chro finish, because, the top of the handle and tops of the sidewalls are highly polished while the other areas are more of a "dull" finish.. BUT... for what that is worth ..it's just MY opinion... :) And, I will leave to others that know a lot more than me to decide... ;) If you have any questions...please contact meAnd please, also, always note the close-up pictures and use the Zoom Feature (when available) for a closer peek!!!
