Vintage MCM Italian Fornasetti Style Verre Eglomise Glass Table Lamp. Approx. 34" tall x 9" wide without the finial. The glass body itself is approx. 19" tall. Internally decorated with white and gold foil medallions of Medieval figures and symbols including knights on horseback, noble men and women, Clergy, King and heraldic symbols including a Fleur De Lys all on a mottled golden copper background. The brass fittings are tarnished and it looks like the socket covers were replaced at ...some point. The pull chain sockets appear to work well and the wiring and plug look good but as always should be checked. The glass has a couple of small in the making surface bubbles which do not detract. No chips or cracks to the glass. A big, handsome Mid Century Verre Eglomise lamp. Please see all photos as they are an intrinsic part of the description. Sold as is. No returns. SH at cost.
